MAHOU, Japanese for MAGIC.

This encompassing silhouette inspired by Architect Kisho Kurokawa’s Nakagin Capsule Tower in Tokyo.

MAHOU was Originally designed for Arcosanti, AZ, a site who’s founding Architect, Paolo Soleri, integrated the circle throughout every building and structure.

MAHOU (MAGIC) for the magical portals that frame 360º Sonoran sunrises, sunsets, river valleys and airy green lichen. Life on top of these soaring mesas is a delicate dance between the sun and the moon.

Throw your arms around this hoop, open yourself up, kick a foot up onto the foot rest, sit with a slouchy hunch or lean back and enjoy a bit of space at the dinner table. A chair so versatile, it must be sorcery.
