SORA, the Japanese word for SKY, inspires this slender uplifting, silhouette.
"I originally designed SORA for the Crafts III building at Arcosanti, AZ, an architectural wonder residing in the Arizona high desert. This building always reminds me of the famous 1950s Sky House in Tokyo by Architect, Kiyonori Kikutake, inspiring this piece’s Japanese influence. SORA is also inspired by the upward facing altarpiece atop the ceramics apse at Arcosanti, AZ."
Feels great to pull out from the table, drape your bag and/or coat over the back rest and dine/work from this functional art piece.
